What's in a Name?

I have no idea how the story began or where it comes from.  I haven't found it in Holy Scripture, even the Book of Daniel or Revelations.  Thus, although it is rooted in Scripture, it may merely be a "legend" or "myth."   Nevertheless, the story goes that when Lucifer rebelled against God an obscure archangel stepped forward and shouted a question that became the rallying cry for all the faithful angels.  The question is, "Who [is] like God?  (The "is" is unspoken, but understood.).  In response, two-thirds of the company of heaven gave the only true reply, "None are like God!"

Both the question and the response are the ultimate in praise and honor.  And these two statements are not only to be on our lips but, as truly authentic Christians, they are to be "shouted" by every aspect of our lives.

And that is the ultimate purpose of this blog. to call and remind all Christians of what it means and to live as authentic disciples of Christ and, thereby, fulfill the secondary mission stated in the above banner -- to proclaim and celebrate the glory and honor of God and to protect and defend His Church on earth.
